INVITATION TO SUPPORT THE 2020 APPLE & GRAPE HARVEST FESTIVAL
The festival committee has developed a prospectus for potential sponsors to support the 2020 festival by investing in specific activities or becoming a general sponsor. Committee Directors are visiting you to encourage your support and I will be grateful if you can give strong consideration by making a financial contribution towards ensuring the festival continues as an iconic event.
The festival means many things to many different corners of this community. Whether you are a business proprietor, a grower, a winery, a profession, an agency, an institution or anything else, the economic impact and the spirit of goodwill that lifts this community every festival year is so valuable. The uplift in community spirit when the arches and flags appear is a rewarding experience and the financial impact to the district during festival time and indeed for a long time after are all good things that are most important to preserve.
Financial analysts place the 2016 festival as generating a $10.14m economic impact to the local and surrounding districts. This is a figure that the committee is proud about and it wishes to improve the result for the 2018 festival and festivals thereafter. To achieve this, your support to provide more events and maintain quality of events is paramount to ongoing festival success.

An event of this nature and size would not attract the crowds it does without cross sector support of public, private and not-for-profit organisations. Behind the scenes there is a committed Board of Directors and an army of volunteers who have also contributed to the Festival’s success over the years.
Over the years the Festival Queens have played a vital role in fundraising, and since 2002 the Young Ambassadors continue this fine tradition. The Festival has also enjoyed solid and loyal support from a range of supporters, without whom it would be impossible to stage this event.
