Scott & Rita – West Holm Farming

Scott and Rita of West Holm Farming are proud fourth-generation farmers based in Severnlea, just outside Stanthorpe in the heart of Queensland’s Granite Belt.

The family story began in 1910 when Scott’s great-grandfather first worked the land, planting fruit trees and vegetables in what would become one of the region’s enduring farming legacies. Over more than a century, the farm has weathered droughts, hailstorms and the many challenges that come with life on the land. With resilience and careful adaptation, the family shifted their focus and today specialise exclusively in growing gourmet and roma tomatoes across several locations throughout the district.

West Holm Farming is known not only for premium-quality tomatoes but also for its busy and highly regarded packing shed. Scott works closely with other local growers, packing and preparing tomatoes that are transported to the Brisbane and Sydney Fruit & Vegetable Markets.

For Scott and Rita, farming is more than a business. It is a continuation of over 100 years of dedication to the land, the community and the produce that feeds Australian families.
