WOOLWORTHS KIDS ZONE (INSIDE FOOD & WINE FIESTA) – Apple & Grape Fun 2024!

Parents of young children will find a place to relax at the Children’s Zone in Weeroona Park during the 2024 Apple and Grape Harvest Festival.

Running alongside the Queensland Country Bank Food & Wine Fiesta, is a free Woolworths Kids Zone in the park, with kids amusements and family entertainment.

The Woolworths Kids Zone will be open on Saturday and Sunday in an adjoining precinct within Weeroona Park, Stanthorpe.

Featuring activities for primary school aged children – program of fun activities below.

  • Woolworths – colouring in, free fruit and activities
  • 2 Face Painters (both Saturday and Sunday)
  • 1 Balloon Modeller (both Saturday and Sunday)
  • Kiera Blaney, the vibrant force behind Hula Hoop Brisbane, is a dynamic performer and specialist in hula hooping. Beyond her mesmerizing hoop skills, she stilt walks, spins plates, juggles, twists balloons, and creates enchanting bubble magic. Kiera's passion has taken her across the globe, showcasing her diverse talents and spreading joy.
  • Roving performers who are on stage for a performance every 1.5 hours (approx.) – Saturday and Sunday - The kids zone stage has a variety of fun shows, workshops and songs to engage and encourage audience participation with lots of fun for all ages. Come and have fun, do a workshop or meet Kattee Koal, Rodney the Roo, Sally Goodysocks, Raggedy Andy & Annie and lots more
  • Sunday – GBATSIC workshops (4 x 20minute workshops) – dancing and painting - Granite Belt Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Corporation
  • Petting Zoo both Saturday and Sunday - Meet our cuddly sheep, cheeky goats, cute calf, fluffy chickens, quacky ducks and our naughty piglets!  Our handsome llama 'Lance' will be there to greet you too! Our 'friendly farmers' will ensure everyone has a great time with the animals.
  • Bunnings (Saturday only) – Making Pin wheels
  • And so much more

ENTRY INFO

Kids under 18 years are free.
Adult entry tickets link (NOTE: The one entry ticket gives you access to both the Queensland Country Bank Food & Wine Fiesta AND the Kid Zone).

You’ll receive a wristband on entry which will also be your pass out. This will give you unlimited access to all the wonderful entertainment inside both venues.

Although parents will be required to supervise their kids in the kids zone, its proximity to the Queensland Country Bank Food & Wine Fiesta means that they will still be able to enjoy the wine, food and great entertainment in that section of Weeroona Park.

A nursing mothers’ tent and first aid tent will also be located in the Children’s Zone.
