The Main Weekend
The ‘Main Weekend’ from 23 Feb – 3 March 2024, featuring the Queensland Country Bank Food and Wine Fiesta, Grand Parade and bound-to-get-messy Grape Crushing, has accommodation being booked faster than you can say “Montepulciano”.
Where to look for vacancies around Stanthorpe…
- Find Stanthorpe and Ballandean area accommodation availability on the Main Weekend listed on www.Trivago.com.au (P.S. Book directly with local accommodation operators to #SupportLocal)
- Stay in Warwick nearby (there’s lots of accommodation vacancies in Warwick) and we’ll be very likely running a festival bus Warwick to Stanthorpe return on Saturday 2 March 2024 to make staying in Warwick during the festival even easier!
Come the first weekend, 23 – 25 February 2024 we’ve got vacancy!
Coming the first weekend of the festival has the advantage of securing accommodation right in the heart of Stanthorpe, meaning you can score yourself a stroll home (or should we say roll?) after long lunching at the Banchetto Italiano.
The bonus? You’ll be able to see talented musicians line Stanthorpe’s streets to busk it out in the Busking Championships (and it’s free too!).
The big weekend: Stay within a short drive 1 – 3 March 2024
When you stay in the Apple Capital, you don’t have to stay in the heart of Stanthorpe to get a taste of the harvest celebrations. Basing yourself in one of the many towns in the Granite Belt means you’ll get the bonus of the scenic drive and a better taste for the whole region. Across the region, you’ll find accommodation for all budgets and group sizes in under a 20-minute drive away.
