Stanthorpe is where ALL of Queensland’s apple crop is grown – so it’s only fitting that it’s here we would dedicate a day to all things apples!
See you in the Piazza in Stanthorpe’s CBD for this fun program (times TBC)…
- Apple Pie Making Competition Judging
- Apple Peeling Competitions (fastest peel and longest peel)
Apple Pie Making Competition: The pastry must be homemade (not shop bought) and fresh (not pie) apples are to be used for the filling. If you are keen to enter, there are competitions rules to be aware of, so please contact the festival office for information.
Apple Peeling Competitions: Put your hand up on the day to compete in one of the apple peeling competitions. There is fierce competition for the bragging rights of the win and lot of fun and laughter is to be had on the way.
