Small Hall Movie Showings & Italian Dinner

A Little Bit of Country Hall and Movie Nostalgia…

There’s something quite nostalgic about country small halls and we’re pleased to invite you to one of our local small halls during the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival to enjoy a little bit of movie nostalgia and Italian food.

The little village of Dalveen near Stanthorpe, has a population of just 300 people, yet they have their own Dalveen Film Society and you’re invited to movie showings in the Dalveen Hall on Monday 28 February and Thursday 3 March – that’s mid-week between the two festival weekends.

P.S. If you’re in town Friday 4 March 2022 we’ll soon be announcing another Movie Showing event by another one of our local film societies!

About the Screenings

Meet locals and festival visitors alike in the Dalveen Hall, a short 20kms drive north of Stanthorpe (on Pine Crescent). The locals are offering an Italian style light dinner as an optional extra before the movie showing – a great opportunity to mix and chat, with the bar being open early too.

Dalveen Film Society presents the films with state-of-the-art cinema equipment, all in the quaint surrounds of their local country hall.
