Rounding out the first weekend of the festival is the Combines Churches Harvest Thanksgiving Service.
Stanthorpe’s tradition of agriculture and the production of food and beverages has enriched the lives of people in the district. While those industries have changed over the years, many of the people involved like to be able to give thanks to God for the work, the workers and the produce. Today we have a diverse community with many cultural and religious traditions.
If you are a visitor you are welcome to join us for this family-friendly thanksgiving celebration.
The service starts at 6.30pm and a simple supper will be provided after. Entry is a gold coin donation that will help to support School Chaplaincy in Granite Belt schools.
